1. BUSINESS OVERVIEW PRESENTATION
Before enrolling in courses, the potential business partner must go through the Business Overview Presentation to have a basic understanding of what we do. Once the presentation is complete and the potential business partner decides that they want to move forward with licensing or contracting, we will now schedule them for a New Agent Orientation.
2. NEW AGENT ORIENTATION
This can be done the same day or scheduled for the next day. Download and print ALL documents below as they complete the New Agent Orientation Packet. In this meeting, we will set standards and expectations as well as find out more about the new agent (Their background, family, their "WHY").
New Agent Orientation Checklist
This is used to help us make sure that we have thoroughly completed every area of the New Agent Orientation and have verified this with our managers for accountability.
Licensing / Contracting Checklist
This is used to help you and the new agent track their progress in the licensing and contracting process, and make sure that everything needed for smooth processing is on hand.
New Agent Intake
This is used to help you learn more about your new agent (Family, background, their "WHY") as well as conduct a financial inventory. If the new agent needs help in the area of retirement or life insurance, you can help them understand their options and write them a policy here.
7 Best Practices
This is used to go over some ethical guidelines with your new agent to understand some common do's and dont's of the business.
Carrier Codes Form
This is used by the new agent to record license numbers, agent numbers / codes with carriers, and login information to their portals / agent websites.
Top 25 Work Sheet
This is used to list the new agent's family and friends (Warm Market) for the purpose of giving the new agent experience in the field with people that they know. When the agent is licensed and contracted, we can begin training with their Top 25. See TRAINING PAGE for instructions.

Licensed Agent Finder
Each state will have an Agent Finder tool where you can see a database of licensed agents and their contact information. There are many agents who are not using their license but may be open to what you and your agency has to offer them. This is a great place to find cold agent leads. For CA, select "LIFE AND ANNUITY" on "INSURANCE TYPE".
4 Questions Script
